An all-India rank holder, astute and dynamic Chartered Accountant with over 28 years of experience in financial strategy, governance and processes across industries, building financial functions right from the ground up, pioneering new financial models, heading global initiatives, optimizing fiscal health, transforming business decision-making, and advising & supporting potential decisions.
Rajiv has advanced financial acumen with core strengths in Corporate Governance, Board experience, Entrepreneurship experience, Banking & Fund Raising, revitalizing the businesses, IFRS, Legal Acumen, M&A, Due Diligence, Budgeting, MIS, Cost Control, ERP, P&L, Project Feasibility Studies, Investment Management. Rajiv has worked with Deloitte (AFF) for 11 years, been a Group CEO and Group CFO for Emirates National Holdings, has run his financial advisory, and has played a Group CFO role in other companies.
Rajiv has served as a trusted advisor to the various governmental entities, including the Government of Hong Kong (Invest HK), Ministry of Finance (Mutual Funds reform), Government of Iran (Corporate Governance), and Tea Board of India (Financial Restructuring), Maharashtra Government Treasury Department (Fraud Investigation). Multiple Municipal Bodies in India, European Commission (Gujarat Health reforms), etc.
Rajiv has working and professional experience across India, UAE, USA, UK, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Iran, Turkey, Egypt.
Rajiv is a published author with two best-selling fiction novels, has produced his OTT Series Forever, is the Founder of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India – Abu Dhabi Chapter, is currently serving as the General Secretary of the Indian Business and Professional Group, Abu Dhabi.
